Last of a Dying Breed, the Homegirl type not what you would call your typical urban girl. I was indeed raised in the hood and the projects In both Wilmington Nc and Brookyln NY..But i NEVER embraced the Lifestyle. not that i am ashamed of where i am from, but NO i do not take pride in it. i do not take pride to the Drugs, the Poverty, The disrespect, The System that tries so hard to keep us down, and all the negativity associated with my upbringing. I do however take Pride in the fact that i have been busting My --- since the age of 15 to change me and my family's circumstances for the better. i am 19, Work 2 jobs working wih at risk children, and am a full time college student working towards earning my associates in arts. My dream is to move to alanta and continue my acting career. Music keeps me SANE. i am very diverse, But I most enjoy R&B Constantly listening to Maxwell, jagged edge, Brian McKnight etc. I enjoy hip Hop from time to time IF its worth listening to. I appreciate the greats such as j.cole, Nas, tupac, talib Kweli, Lauryn Hill, erykah bady, Eminem, and big sean. I also record Music in my spare time, write poetry, paint, and Love to cook. I just got out of a 5year relationship so i am in NO rush to date again, i am basically Looking for friendship. doesnt matter about looks, as long as your Personality is in the right place. I love being around sill people who mlove to laugh and crack jokes cus i sure as hell do! and People that can hold conversations, it doesnt have to be politcal but intresting enough to keep my attention bc i do have ADD...or at least i think i do.
